Great Burger for sure. You will be sassified with the size and taste of this Beauty of a Burger, no doubt. It's worth the visit, such a nice drive out near the Old Tunnel Bat Cave. Wonderful manager/owner named Elvis, takes great care of the facilty and has a heart for awesome customer service. Love the feel of the place, inside seating and outdoor as well. Give them a shot, you will enjoy yourself here and you will be back for another visit, just like me!

New ownership. The service by our waiter Kevin was superb! Kevin was friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding. It was difficult to finish the whole burger- but it’s so good you don’t want to leave any. The frings is the way to go: half onion rings & half French fries. The batter on the onion rings were perfect! If you haven’t been give this little hidden away gem a try! It’s a beautiful drive.

Heading back from Big Bend and made a stop for the night in Kerrville, drove thru Fredericksburg on our way to Austin and found this hidden gem. Ordered the cover burger, which was a little over cooked for my liking but I didn't specify-so my fault. But the flavor was AWESOME. Ordered the half krusty fries and onion rings. The fries were just ok, but the onion rings were some of the best I've ever had! Homeade ranch dressing and just a down home feel. The owner was interactive and available, the staff was amazing, and next time we're in Fredericksburg we will definitely be back!

Was down the road and saw this place out in the sticks and decided to give it a try. Was a pretty darn good decision! Had the fried mushrooms for an appetizer, they came out hot, crispy, and mighty tasty. The fries and onion rings came out hot and crispy. The main event was them super jucy burgers though. Definitely worth a stop just bring an empty stomach as there will more than likely be too much for ya to eat!!

This place reopened a few weeks ago after it was closed for a few months. I did not think this burger place would reopen again but it did - thanks to a few people who wanted to continue serving the best burgers around this area of town in the hill country of Texas! Their burgers are still great - served hot and juicy with all the trimmings. The French fries and the onion rings are very hot when they are delivered to your table. When we ate there a couple of weeks ago, they were still in the process of getting the restaurant in good order. They still can’t serve beer because their alcohol license is still pending. I’m so glad that this wonderful burger place is back - I hope for a long time! We missed it when it was closed for a few months.

What a unique place way out in the Hill Country. Sat inside in the larger dining room , had great table service. The onion rings are SO good!

Alamo Springs Cafe: A Classic Reborn! The reopening of Alamo Springs Cafe is a true win for burger lovers! This classic joint has returned with all the familiar comforts and, thankfully, the same delicious dedication to food. My wife and I dove straight into the classics, ordering their famous Cheeseburger. It lived up to the hype – juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The hand-battered onion rings were crispy and golden, not greasy at all, and the hand-cut French fries were the ideal complement, clearly made with care. Everything tasted fresh and high-quality. Beyond the food, the atmosphere is equally inviting. The welcoming bar and comfortable seating area make it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. The service was fast and friendly. The abundance of outdoor patio seating is a fantastic addition, perfect for those beautiful Texas evenings. And the good news doesn't stop there! The Friday Night Ribeye special, featuring a 14oz Angus ribeye with sides, sounds absolutely mouthwatering and is definitely on my list for a future visit. Plus, the announcement of upcoming breakfast hours (7 am – 10 am) is incredibly exciting – can’t wait! Alamo Springs Cafe has successfully recaptured its magic. If you're looking for a classic burger joint with quality food, a friendly atmosphere, and plenty of options, look no further. Highly recommended! Salute!!

The girls and I visited Alamo Springs Cafe this past summer, and I’ve been craving it ever since! The burger I had was absolutely amazing—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and just unforgettable. I also couldn’t get enough of their fried pickles! I’m already counting down the days until they reopen and hoping to be back soon—fingers crossed it’ll be by January for my birthday! This place is a must-visit for anyone who loves great food and an even better burger experience.
